DLA Piper, a global law firm, has appointed Charles Rix to its International Insurance team, based in London.
Rix’s appointment aligns with DLA Piper’s growth strategy and strengthens its insurance sector bench.
In the role, he will use his technical knowledge and experience to focus on supporting the wider European and global insurance teams on client mandates and business development and general profile raising.
Rix has almost three decades of industry experience advising leading global insurance companies on complex cross-border M&A transactions, insurance business transfers, business restructurings and regulatory matters.
He has held senior leadership roles at firms, including Global Head of Insurance and Head of UK M&A.
